After ten years, Andy Muirhead relaunches Scotzine ahead of Scotland's 2026 World Cup campaign in the USA.
10 years after I stepped away in 2016, I am thrilled to announce that Scotzine will return, launching just in time for Scotland’s World Cup 2026 campaign in the USA - unless Donald Trump blows us all up with nukes thinking he’s ordering a Coke!
With the Tartan Army invading American soil this summer, Scotzine will deliver the raw, unfiltered Scottish football you crave - free from commercial sensitivities and constraints. Heralding back to the 1980-90s fanzine culture.
After leaving in 2016, I watched in dismay as the site I built up over the years descended into clickbait territory, regurgitating mainstream media articles that ultimately led to its demise. Now, I’m returning the site to its roots - a platform where the fans truly are the voice.
