Celtic agree club-record £11m deal for Bodø/Glimt striker Kasper Høgh
The striker is believed to be close to finalising a move after being on Celtic's radar for a number of years.
Celtic are poised to complete a club-record signing after agreeing a fee of £11 million plus add-ons for Bodø/Glimt striker Kasper Høgh, with the Danish forward expected to undergo a medical next week.
The Scottish champions have reportedly been in talks with the Norwegian club for several weeks and have now moved to secure the 24-year-old . Høgh has scored 54 goals in more than 100 appearances for Bodø/Glimt and is seen as a major addition to Martin O’Neill’s attacking options.
The move comes in the wake of Daizen Maeda joining Ipswich Town in a £10 million deal, leaving a massive hole to fill in Celtic’s forward line.
Celtic kick off their Scottish Premiership title defence against Dundee on Monday 3rd August.
