Celtic defender Hayato Inamura joins FC Tokyo on permanent deal
Inamura departs Celtic less than a year after signing, following a loan spell in Japan after being frozen out by successive Celtic managers.
Celtic have confirmed that defender Hayato Inamura has joined FC Tokyo on a permanent transfer, less than a year after arriving at the club.
The Japanese player signed a four-year deal with Celtic last summer but made just one Scottish Premiership appearance during his time in Glasgow. He moved to FC Tokyo on loan in January in search of regular first-team football.
Following that loan spell, the J-League side have now completed a permanent deal to bring Inamura back to Japan.
